In 2015, we became a proud member of the Radiant Logistics global network as Radiant Clipper. In June of 2022 we further evolved in name to who we are today: Radiant Road & Rail. We provide access to over 100,000 dry goods containers and a fleet of 2,000 rail-ready refrigerated units that move across North America on Class 1 U.S. and Canadian railways. As part of the Radiant Logistics network we coordinate our shipments with over 6,000 diverse transportation carriers servicing North America.
A HISTORY OF INTERMODAL EXPERTISE
In 1938, Radiant Road & Rail was founded as Clipper Exxpress—North America’s premier provider of “piggyback” rail transportation. We began by contracting flat space on rail cars to transport semi trailers across the continent, thereby eliminating the need for a tractor with every shipment. While our services have expanded since then and our name has changed, we continue to focus on rail as a valuable mode of on-time long distance transportation.
